Welcome to Cancers Survivors Quest!

Malawi is a small country located in the Central part of Africa in the tropical region. Cancer in Malawi is increasing at a very high rate, currently there are over 10,000 new cases that are being diagnosed. Cancer Survivors Quest is one of organisations that was established in 2011 as a platform to promote the fight against cancer. in Malawi cancer is regarded as a new phenominom and very few people are aware about it, we dont have adequate medical personnel and facilities to treat it; only recently in 2018 has the Malawi Government embarked on building the first cancer Centre in Malawi.

Mission Statement

The mission statement of the Network shall be to aid in the promotion and fight against Cancer through awareness. Enshrined in this is the principle of enhancing the lives of persons with Cancer and Cancer survivors by providing basic needs throughout the country through raising funds using various fundraising techniques.

Objectives of CSQ

The CSQ has many objectives which in time may change, but the network has core objectives and these are:

• To create a Network comprising of individuals, groups and organisations that collectively work towards enhancing the lives of Cancer patients, parents and cancer survivors.
• To create, 150 clubs and/or groups by 2020, through awareness and fundraising that will promote and co-ordinate a platform for Cancer and its related issues.
• To promote, support and complement government policies and programmes that fall under non-communicable diseases (NCD's), specifically cancer, directed at persons with cancer, parents and survivors.
